This unique town and surrounding area, are located in the Red Deer River Valley in the badlands of central Alberta. The area is also known as Dinosaur Valley due to the many fossil discoveries that have occured here. Its mudstone, sandstone and carbonaceous shale layers, make this area extremely rewarding to study photographically.
